E-mail Attachments

E-mail attachments are becoming more and more popular. In fact, your inbox may be full of attachments that you can't read, or attachments that you just don't know are there. Inbox Organizer will scan your inbox and create a listing of all attachments, showing you the file name, the person who sent it, and the date it was sent. Plus, Inbox Organizer gives you the power to View, Print, and Save attachment files so you can use them!

Searching for Attachments

To search for e-mail attachments in your inbox files:

1. Press the Attach button on the tool bar or select Attachments from the Actions menu.

2. The Searching dialog box will appear indicating the number of messages read and the number of attachments found.

3. When all messages have been read, a window will appear showing all the attachments that Inbox Organizer was able to read.

Opening/Printing an Attachment

Once the attachment search has completed, a new window will appear like the one below listing the attachment name, the e-mail address of the sender, and the date it was sent.

To open or print an attachment, first select it from the attachment list by clicking your mouse on the Attachment Name, then press the Open or Print button.

Saving an Attachment

To save an attachment, first select it from the attachment list then press the Save As button. The windows File Save dialog box will appear prompting you to specify a name for the file.
